لدعم "اليوم العالمي للإجهاض الآمن" الموافق ٢٨ أيلول، طوّرت المبادرة للحقوق الجنسيّة، والمركز للحقوق الإنجابيّة، وائتلاف العدالة الإنجابيّة، ومنظّمة Ipas، ومركز آسيا والمحيط الهادئ للموارد والأبحاث للنّساء، والرّابطة لتنمية حقوق النّساء، ومنظّمة CHOICE للشّباب والجنسانيّة بيانًا مشتركًا حول الحقّ في الإجهاض، لتقدّمه خلال انعقاد الجلسة الـ٤٢ القادمة لمجلس الأمم المتّحدة لحقوق الإنسان في جينيف. ويركّز بيان هذا العام على العدالة الإنجابيّة والإجهاض.

In support of the upcoming International Safe Abortion Day on 28 September 28, the Sexual Rights Initiative, the Center for Reproductive Rights, the Sexual and Reproductive Justice Coalition, Ipas, the Asia-Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women, the Association for Women’s Rights in Development , and CHOICE for Youth and Sexuality have developed a joint statement on abortion rights for delivery at the upcoming 42nd session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. The focus of this year’s statement is on reproductive justice and abortion.

The present report sets out the obligations of States to invest adequately in the rights of children, in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child. It considers the different stages – of the budget process – preparation, allocation, spending and monitoring – and provides a framework for a human rights-based approach to budgeting. It includes examples of good practices and a number of recommendations to ensure that adequate resources are devoted to the realization of the rights of children in all countries, regardless of the income level of the State.

In the present report, which covers the period from December 2013 to December 2014, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict outlines the activities undertaken in discharging her mandate, including information on the progress achieved with regard to developing and implementing action plans, the challenges in the children and armed conflict agenda and field visits.
